2007 Convention Information 2007-11-06 The 2007 California State Auctioneers Association Annual State Convention was held on October 25-27, 2007, in Anaheim, CA at the Holiday Inn Resort. Guest speakers this year were John Glines, Daryl Franks, Judge Michael Rutberg and NAA board member Jay Nitz, CAI. John Glines, Judge Michael Rutberg and Jay Nitz also sat on a special discussion panel in which attendees were able to ask questions and get responses from those who are experts in their field. The presentations included Benefit Auctions by John Glines, Real Estate by Daryl Franks, Arbitration, Medication, Real Estate and Law by Judge Rutberg and The Trials and Tribulations of the Auction Business by Jay Nitz, CAI. Election of OfficersThe election took place during the CSAA annual business meeting. Members of the California State Auctioneers Association have elected Calvin Ogren, CAI, CES of Lodi, to lead the state-wide, professional Auctioneer’s organization for the coming year.
